Helicopter Flight Instructor Program

Our helicopter flight training curriculum is FAA certified. All American Helicopters Flight school specializes in training new Pilots for their Helicopter careers at affordable rates. We offer package pricing to reduce costs. Our experienced Flight Instructors work with you to ensure you attain your goals quickly and effectively. This helicopter training program is especially tailored for students with no flight experience who would like to be Flight Instructors as a vocation. This flight training program differs from the Professional Pilot Helicopter Training Program in that it is specifically designed for future Flight Instructors. We emphasize Fundamentals of Instruction in addition to focusing on helicopter training maneuvers throughout this program.

The minimum cost based on FAA requirements for the Flight Instructor Program is $67,850. Some students require additional flight training time to master the intricacies of Flight Instruction. We have found the average cost to be $72,350 for the Helicopter Flight Instructor training program.

Costs are inclusive of:

  • Flight Instruction
  • Ground Instruction
  • Books/Tests
  • Checkrides

We do not require full payment up front for the certificate/rating you choose. You may "pay as you go" if that is your preference.

  • $320 per hour Dual Instruction is the "pay as you go" standard rate.
  • $50 per hour Ground Instruction.
  • $270.00 per hour Solo.
