US Aviation Academy Receives American Airlines Flight School Grant

American Airlines Group (AAG) has selected US Aviation Academy as a recipient of the recently announced “American Airlines Flight School Grant”. American Airlines offers this grant program to support qualified flight schools in their grassroots efforts to grow and diversify the pool of commercial aviators. “We are honored to be selected for this grant,” said US Aviation Academy Chief Development Officer, Mark Taylor. “We’ve been cultivating future Captains for American Airlines through the Envoy Pipeline Program for quite some time and we plan to become even more involved in resolving the pilot shortage American is facing.”

The American Airlines Flight School Grant is designed to recognize the key role of qualified flight schools in generating aviation interest within their communities. Although all commercial flight schools are eligible to receive up to $25,000.00 per grant, the award is based on program potential, creativity, and probability of success in growing and diversifying the pilot pool.
