Avionics Install Technician
US Aviation’s Avionics Certified Repair Station is seeking an Avionics Installation Technician in Denton, Texas.
Position Overview
An Avionics Installation Technician at US Aviation is needed to help perform various communication and navigation maintenance for an ever-expanding fleet of Cessna 152s, 172s, Piper Seneca PA34-200s, and Beechcraft King Airs. Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshoot malfunctions of aircraft avionics and electrical systems components, such as, airborne navigation/communication systems, weather radar, autopilot, compass systems, and accessories in accordance with MFG specifications and FAA guidelines.
Requirements pertain (but not limited to):
- Literate in Aircraft Wiring Schematics and Symbols
- Capable of manufacturing wiring harnesses
- Installing and troubleshooting wiring harnesses, aircraft electrical systems and electrical components
- Familiarity with avionics manufactures such as Garmin, Bendix-King, Honeywell, Avidyne, Aspen Avionics, Freeflight Systems to name a few
- Fluent in basic electrical theory
- Provide proof of good wire crimping and soldering techniques
- Must have own hand tools
- Capable of standing, sitting, and bending to complete assigned tasks
- A&P or previous Repair Station Certificate experience preferred
