Lone Star College Pilot Program

The Lone Star College Pilot Program allows aspiring pilots to earn an Associate's Degree and begin their aviation career. This program partners with US Aviation Academy and offers a collegiate pathway enriched with FAA-approved airline pilot courses leading to an Associate of Applied Science degree in Professional Pilot. Students in the Lone Star College Pilot Program will also earn necessary certification by completing Private, Commercial, Certified Flight Instructor-Airplane (CFI-A) and Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFI-I) along with instrument and multi-engine ratings.

Associate of Applied Science Professional Pilot Degree

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) is a two-year program training for FAA certificates. Students take general education courses plus aviation-specific classes.

Professional Pilot Level II Certificate

The Professional Pilot Level II Certificate is a three-month program to complete coursework and flight training needed for Private, Instrument, and Commercial certificates. All credits apply toward the Professional Pilot AAS degree.
