Is there a Seguin, Texas flight school?

There is not a separate Seguin campus. Seguin students train at the San Marcos campus located at HYI San Marcos Regional Airport in San Marcos, Texas. It is about 25 to 35 minutes from Seguin via TX-123 or I-35.

Is VA funding approved at the San Marcos campus?

Not yet. We are awaiting VA approval for Post 9/11 GI Bill® Chapter 33 flight training at San Marcos at this time.

What are the prerequisites for enrolling if I live in Seguin?

There are no required prerequisites. Follow these steps:
  1. Contact the Aviation Science Program Chair for current flight training fees and course information.
  2. Select courses in consultation with the Program Coordinator.
  3. Complete an FAA physical and obtain a 1st or 2nd class Medical Certificate before enrollment.
