Train to Fly in the United States. Graduate Career-Ready.

FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA,
United States

US Aviation Academy pairs one of the largest training fleets in the country with a campus built entirely around producing airline-bound pilots — from first flight to Commercial license.

Where Captains Earn Their Wings

US Aviation Academy (USAA) is a full-service flight training academy based in Fort Pierce, Florida — a location chosen for the year-round flying weather that keeps students in the air and on schedule. We train pilots the way airlines expect them to be trained: structured curriculum, disciplined standards, and a relentless focus on hours flown and checkrides passed.

Our academy brings together everything a student needs in one place — aircraft, simulators, ground school, FAA testing areas, instructors, and fully furnished housing — so students can focus on one thing: becoming a professional pilot.

One of the Largest Training Fleets in the United States

With 55+ aircraft and ongoing fleet expansion of Cessna 152s and Cessna 172s, aircraft availability is never the bottleneck. A large, well-maintained fleet means students fly when they’re scheduled to fly — the single biggest factor in finishing a program on time.

A True 3-to-1 Training Environment

Students train one-on-one with Certified Flight Instructors at a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio. That means personal attention, consistent instruction, and a pace set by the student’s progress rather than a crowded schedule.

Everything Under One Roof

Our large campus includes a spacious lobby, dedicated study rooms, one-on-one training areas, simulator rooms, high-tech classrooms, and on-site FAA testing areas. Students move seamlessly from ground school to the simulator to the flight line without leaving the academy.

Modern Aircraft and State-of-the-Art Simulators

Training is conducted on Cessna 152 and Cessna 172 single-engine aircraft and the Piper Seneca for multi-engine work, supported by in-depth ground school and state-of-the-art flight simulators, including Redbird full-motion and PCATD devices. Time in the simulator sharpens procedures and instrument skills before every hour counts in the aircraft.

CRAA–USAA Accelerated Flight Training Program

10-Month Guaranteed Flying Program — Single & Multi-Engine, up to DGCA CPL

Our flagship accelerated pathway takes a student from zero experience to a Commercial Pilot License in a structured 10-month program built for international candidates pursuing a DGCA CPL. Delivered in partnership with Captain Aviation Academy (CRAA) in India, the program combines USAA’s fleet, facilities, and instructors with a guaranteed, month-by-month flying schedule.

Program at a glance

  • 10-month guaranteed flying program
  • 259 total training hours, covering Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot (single-engine initial plus multi-engine add-on)
  • New batches begin the first Monday of every month, with arrival the Thursday before the start date
  • Training aircraft: Cessna 152, Cessna 172, and Piper Seneca
  • Accommodation included for the duration of the program

The training pathway

  1. Private Pilot Course — the foundation: core airmanship, single-engine flight, and private ground school.
  2. Instrument Rating Course — precision flying by instruments, reinforced with simulator training.
  3. Commercial Pilot Course — single-engine commercial training plus a multi-engine add-on on the Piper Seneca, building the hours and skills airlines look for.

How the 259 hours break down

  • Single-engine flight time: 182 hours
  • Multi-engine flight time: 15 hours
  • Total flight time: 197 hours
  • Simulator time: 62 hours
  • Grand total: 259 hours

A Campus Built for Pilots

USAA’s campus is designed to keep every part of a student’s training in one place. In-depth ground school runs in modern, high-tech classrooms. Dedicated simulator rooms house state-of-the-art devices for instrument and procedures practice. Study rooms and one-on-one training areas give students space to prepare, and on-site FAA testing areas mean written and practical milestones happen without leaving campus.

Comfortable, Fully-Furnished Student Housing

Student accommodations are fully furnished and come with internet access and cable television. Community amenities include a gym, pool, tennis courts, and a game room — so students have a genuine home base to rest and recharge between flights.

Daily transportation runs to and from student housing, so getting to the flight line each morning is one less thing to think about.

Focused Training, Real Flying

From pre-flight inspections to solo cross-countries, students spend their days doing the work that turns into a career. A supportive instructor team, a full flight line, and a community of fellow trainees make the accelerated pace not just achievable, but genuinely rewarding.
