Looking to start your career in aircraft maintenance but live far from campus? US Aviation Academy is proud to offer a Relocation Bonus for Aircraft Mechanic students enrolling in our FAA-approved A&P programs. If you move from more than 50 miles away to attend training at our Minneapolis, San Marcos, or Atlanta campuses, you may be eligible for up to $4,000 in tuition reimbursement to help ease the cost of relocation.

Our Relocation Bonus for Aircraft Mechanic students is available to those who:

  • Are relocating from more than 50 miles away
  • Enroll in our 8-month day or 16-month night FAA A&P Mechanic Program

  • Attend the Minneapolis, MN, San Marcos, TX, or Atlanta, GA, campus

  • Provide required proof of relocation

Up to $4,000 in Tuition Reimbursement

Eligible students can receive up to $4,000 in relocation support applied directly to their tuition. Reimbursement is structured based on your tuition payment method:

Cash Tuition Students

  • $2,000 refunded after 30 days of continuous enrollment

  • $2,000 refunded after 60 days

Loan Tuition Students

  • $2,000 reimbursed as a housing allowance after 30 days of continuous enrollment

  • $2,000 reimbursed as a housing allowance after 60 days

VA Students

  • Up to $4,000 will be paid to your housing complex 30 days after VA funding clears

  • Only applies to San Marcos Texas as that is the only VA Approved campus as of July 2025

Proof of Relocation Requirements

To receive the Relocation Bonus for Aircraft Mechanic training, you must provide documentation that confirms your move. Required proof includes:

  • Previous lease or utility bill showing an address over 50 miles from the training campus, ending within the past 30 days

    New lease agreement or utility connection dated within the last 30 days, showing a valid address near the campus

All documents must include your name and address. Additional verification may be requested as needed.
