Avelo Airlines candidates will provide US Aviation Academy flight instructors with a career pathway created for a faster and more streamlined process for commercial pilot students looking to transition from flight instruction to an Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 first officer!
Candidates looking to join Avelo Airlines will be US Aviation Academy Part 141 Flight Training alumni that have become Flight Instructors. At ATP/R-ATP Minimums, Flight Instructors will be eligible for the program to interview with Avelo Airlines.

Basic Minimum Requirements

  • 1,500 Hours or 1,000 Restricted ATP
  • 21 Years Old (non-Restricted ATP_
  • First Class Medical
  • Valid Passport
  • Legal Right to Work in the US

  • First Year, Captain: $204 an hour

  • $21,600 a year commuter stipend

Our Part 141 Professional Pilot Training is revered for the quality of experience, professionalism, and safety-conscious pilots that it produces. To become a Flight Instructor at US Aviation Academy, you must attend those courses Part 141.

After completing the 9-month training program, our Flight Instructors average out at about 900 flight hours a year.
