US Aviation Academy Launches EAGLE Career Pathway Partnership with AAR to Propel Aircraft Mechanic Careers

Denton, TX – August 6th 2025 — US Aviation Academy is proud to announce a new partnership with AAR, a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs. Through AAR’s EAGLE Career Pathway program (Enhancing A&P Graduates with Leadership and Experience), this collaboration offers US Aviation Academy aircraft mechanic students an accelerated route to employment, leadership development, and long-term career growth.

The EAGLE Career Pathway program is AAR’s commitment to bridging the aircraft maintenance talent gap by developing the next generation of Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) technicians. Students enrolled in US Aviation Academy’s FAA-approved 8-month and 16-month A&P programs benefit from a pipeline to career opportunities, mentoring, and leadership training with AAR at their world-class Airframe MRO facilities.

“We are excited to partner with AAR. and offer our students a direct route into one of the most respected MRO networks in the world,” said Mike Sykes, CEO of US Aviation Academy. “This is more than a job opportunity—it’s a clear career path with industry-leading benefits and the potential for long-term success.”

Key benefits of the AAR EAGLE Career Pathway include:

  • Structured Career Development: Students advance from entry-level technician roles into advanced maintenance and leadership positions.
  • Mentorship and Skills Building: Direct mentorship from experienced AAR professionals and exposure to real-world commercial and defense maintenance operations.
  • Employment Opportunities: Pipeline to job openings at AAR’s Airframe MRO facilities across the country upon successful program completion.

AAR’s partnership with US Aviation Academy is part of a broader initiative to address the aviation industry’s growing demand for certified aircraft maintenance technicians. According to Boeing’s latest forecast, more than 710,000 new maintenance technicians will be needed globally over the next two decades.

This pathway is now available to students at US Aviation Academy campuses in Denton, TX; San Marcos, TX; Minneapolis, MN; and Atlanta, GA, and is designed to help students move seamlessly from training into full-time careers.
