Located in Denton Enterprise Airport (KDTO) in Denton, TX, this 12-month accelerated training program is designed to get you to work fast. The specific training you’ll need to complete before being eligible to take the exam required to become a certified A&P Mechanic includes:

Requirements to Enroll in VA Approved A&P Mechanic Training

To take part in the US Aviation Academy’s mechanics training and FAA Part 147 program the following must be met:
  • All students must be 18 years or older to complete the program.
  • Students must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
  • All students must speak, read, write, and understand the English language.

US Aviation Academy offers convenient ways to pay for schooling, including: If you have served at least three years of active duty time, you may qualify for up to 36 months of educational benefits. At 100% eligibility, you will receive the maximum 12 month cap for the Post 9/11 GI Bill®  for the 12 month accelerated A&P mechanic program is covered by your VA Benefits.
